CDA Statement: Update on TB Screening Exercise in Bedok (5 May 2026)

  1. As of 5 May 2026, 6pm, a total of 1,085 individuals have been screened for tuberculosis at Heartbeat@Bedok since screening started on 4 May. An additional 274 individuals have been screened at SATA CommHealth Bedok Clinic. Amongst the 1,359 screened, 834 stepped forward voluntarily for screening, while 525 were in the mandatory group.

  2. In addition to Heartbeat@Bedok, individuals can also make appointments for screening at SATA CommHealth Bedok Clinic or the National Tuberculosis Screening Centre. Screening at these locations is available from 4 May to 5 June 2026, and is also free of charge.
