About CDA Research Group
The CDA Research Group (CRG) is the research arm of the Communicable Diseases Agency (CDA) with a public health research function and comprises 3 divisions, 4 research cores and 2 national programmes:

Objectives of CDA Research
The objectives of CDA Research are to:
Support communicable disease programmes with state-of-the-art research to drive policy decisions;
Establish and sustain core outbreak research capabilities to generate evidence to guide policy decisions and evidence-based practice in major outbreaks and a pandemic;
Establish and sustain core national capabilities in infectious disease research in endemic infectious diseases;
Establish and sustain collaborative national infectious disease research programmes with NCID as strategic outbreak research partner; and
Engage strategic international partners in research collaborations.
